Open Feishu and Lark links in a specific browser on Mac
Why give it its own rule
Feishu docs and Lark pages belong to a company tenant such as your-company.feishu.cn. People in more than one tenant, or who use Feishu in China and Lark abroad, often open a doc link in a browser signed in to the other organization and get a permission page.
How to set it up
- Install ChooseBrowser and pick it in System Settings → Desktop & Dock → Default web browser.
- In ChooseBrowser, add a rule for the hosts below and choose the browser and profile (profiles of Chrome, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi and Chromium need a one-time local setup in the app).
- From then on, these links open straight in that browser from any app; links without a rule show the picker.
Hosts to add
feishu.cnyour-company.feishu.cnlarksuite.com
Split by path
your-company.feishu.cn/docx
Add rules for feishu.cn, your-company.feishu.cn and larksuite.com that open the profile signed in to the right tenant. If you want documents in a dedicated browser, add a path rule for your-company.feishu.cn/docx and point it there, while the rest of the tenant follows the host rule.
Check that it works
Open a your-company.feishu.cn/docx link and confirm the document loads in the chosen profile with your company name at the top; then open a link from another tenant or larksuite.com and confirm it follows its own rule.
